I began writing as a means to understand the world around me.
Creators (artists, filmmakers, writers) help us conceptualise thoughts and explore ideas. Through looking at these influences and observing, analysing and interpreting - I try to make better sense of my world.
I use writing, photography, painting and drawing to explore themes such as identity, memory, positionality, power and societal structures.
